If selected as an Australian finalist:
Entering the Global Tech Innovator pitch competition can help put your innovation on the radar of Australian industry experts, investors and potential partners. Five finalists will be selected for our local Australian competition to pitch in front of a panel of esteemed judges on 14 August 2024 at KPMG in Sydney.
If selected as the Australian winner:
The Australian winner of Global Tech Innovator will receive flights and accommodation to Lisbon for the Web3 Summit in November 2024^.
Take advantage of global networking, with the Australian Global Tech Innovator winner to pitch their business alongside 20+ tech innovators in front of 70,000 investors, founders, policymakers and more. elibility criteria
To be eligible for the competition, you must:
- Be a registered company in Australia where the final is being held
- Have been actively operating for 5 years or less (in the current form)
- Generate revenue between US $1 million and $15 million; or have raised at least US $500,000 in equity
- Be either a pure technology or a tech-enabled, tech-driven or tech-led business
- Not be majority owned by a large corporate
- Be able to conduct all pitches in English
- If selected as a finalist, be available to pitch on 14th August 2024 at KPMG Sydney.
- If selected as the Australian winner, be available to pitch at the global final in November 2024, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Sapia.ai won the 2023 Global Tech Innovator trophy, picked up by founder and CEO Barb Hyman. As part of the prize, Barb flew to Lisbon, Portugal in November to showcase their venture in front of 70,000 investors, founders and policymakers.
